How many hours spent playing one game?

When I completed Dark Souls I had put about 80 hours into that single playthough and to me this seemed an increibly long time to spend with a game. But when browsing the forums I here people talk about how they spend hundreds of hours with a single game.

So whats the longest time you've spent with one playthrough of a game and what makes that game so good to be worth your time?

Dragon's Age Origins -- ~120hrs

Deus Ex: HR -- ~120hrs

Yakuza 4 -- ~140hrs

I tend to play longer on RPGs, than other genres. But generally I average 60-80hrs b/c I usually like to take my time and explore--especially if the game has a beautiful environments and atmosphere.

So whats the longest time you've spent with one playthrough of a game and what makes that game so good to be worth your time?

FFX, I had a save with over a thousand hours.

But for PS3 it would be Dragon Age: Origins with around 140-150 hours.

New Vegas - around 156 hours.

Fallout 3 - around 180 hours.

Skyrim - around 130 hours.

all of those are single playthroughs and i have done multiple playthroughs on them all.

The most time I have put into one game would be Final Fantasy X, with about 100-120 hours on my longest save. I'm sure my GTA IV save has A LOT of hours clocked on it as well.

All systems? I have well over 1000 hours in League of Legends.

I put like 200 hours into GTAIV, 150 or so into Borderlands and about 100 into Bad Company 2. All PS3 versions of course

I have around 130 hours in Skyrim and even more in Obloivion, probably around 100 hrs in Fallout 3

If PS3 ever gets the Dawnguard DLC then I will get alot more in Skyrim. My skyrim hours are single playthrough and so many hours just doing everything in the game and exploring, my 130 is like a minimum for most people in this game, My brother has like 180 hrs in Skyrim cause he has to check out every nook and cranny on a dungen or house and upgrade every weapon to its max. I never used the weapon smithing in the game, I just bought everything and didnt upgrade my weapons.

14 days playing cod4 online..... :P

Finished Fallout: New Vegas recently and clocked in just over 300 hours. The last 50 hours or so wasn't that fun though, having to restart the game every half hour because of a god-awful framerate.

from something which has a timer... pokemon diamond - 555 hours. But to be fair a lot of the time was having the game just sitting there without me doing anything. Overall - counter strike... easily 5000+ hours on ps3.. ummm.. modern warfare 2... 15+ days worth of mp... probably 6 playthroughs of the campaign..and then getting all veteran for spec opscampzor

Yeah I have 420 hours in Pearl with some of it being me sitting there not doing anything either. Not sure why I do that sometimes Pokemon Pearl isn't the only game I'ce done that with either.

I think those might be the games I put the most hours into so far

Champion Jockey will probable exceed that amount as for 360 Tales of Vesperia will probably as well.

as for another series I'm sure I put in alot of hours in Legend of Zelda series, Kingdom Hearts, Okami,Super Smash Bros and Legend of Spyro games too.

Max Payne 3 around 85 hours and that's mostly online.

Saints Row 2 I've played through the game about 5 times and I used to be addicted to the multiplayer I think I spent around 200 hours on it.

My first playthrough of Final Fantasy XIII took about 65 hours, and then I did a second and just got the plat today, which took 123 hours or so. So 188 total on that one.

MP= Socom CF. 350+ hours (lol i know alot of people hate the game) *Shrugs

SP= Borderlands 150+ Love the game.

for PS3 it's

Super Street Fighter IV: 90+ hours (not counting the times I'm playing on other people's consoles)

Just Cause 2: 50 Hours

Batman Arkham City: Dunno, but it has to be a lot!

486 hours and counting-Battlefield 3

MW2 i think was 42 days played but not positive
