For me, about 3 hours total.
I just could not get into it. Plus I have a ton of other games I have yet to complete.
Does the game get alot better as you go along because I would really love to give it another try? What am I missing?
I'm at 77 hours with 85% trophies. I'm guessing you're on a 2nd or 3rd playthrough then? Cause I'm not sure what else you could have possibly done for 90 hours if you weren't chasing the Plat. Only trophies I have left are Treasure Hunter (every weapon/accessory), Master's Seal (max Crystarium), and Adamant Will (beat a Long Gui). The first 2 are by far the most time consuming ones and the other one you almost have to have everything maxed out to get (or at least much higher than what I'm at now) so that's why I didn't get that one yet either. Eventually I wanna go back and get the Plat but I need a break from the game.Texas2089I had 90 over mulitple saves ;)
38 Hours with only 24% of the trophies. I haven't beaten it yet. I got it about a month and a half ago but needed to take a break from it. I plan on jumping back into it soon as it is by far my favorite game on PS3 so far. But Final Fantasy Versus 13 might give it a run for that.

110 painful hours to do everything.

Was it worth it in the end to you?
The sense of relief at the end made it worth it, that and I got a plat trophy. Yay. :D53 hours to finish the game, didnt like it at all.

Why would you put 53 hours into a game when you don't like it?

To get your money's worth.[QUOTE="LightR"]24 hours and no more, I'm not wasting my time to grind.Texas2089No need to grind, you just suck at the game :P
I topped near the end because this is a dissappointment. I will finish it later but hey he is right. When you arrives on GranPulse you need to spend some hours grinding, this is not a case of you suck at the game. How can someone suck at this game that have you almost all the game just pressing x and nothing more.

To get your money's worth. Same her but in my case i stopped and forgot to finish it near the end. This games is the biggest FF disappointment.85 Hours with 100% trophies. I tried to go back for a second gameplay, but I couldn't since school started.

He never got to Gran Pulse. He's still stuck on Barthandelus.I believe my exact time as of last save last night was 71 hrs 48 minutes. I believe I'm at 47% trophies done. Know I could go and get the Pulsian Pioneer and Gysahl Wreath any time I go and talk to Bhakti again. Just trying to farm plat ingots before I finish off Titan's Trials since Long Gui's kill the drop rate.

He never got to Gran Pulse. He's still stuck on Barthandelus. LOL then he's a liar.If you can struggle through the first 5-8 hours, it does get a lot better. Basically once you hit Chapter 5, the combat system starts to shows it's true self and story gets genuinely interesting as oppose to wondering what the hell is going on like the beginning of the game. Personally, I just realized that "this" is how the game is and accepted it, made the journey a lot easier I would imagine :PFor me, about 3 hours total.

At the same time, it's totally understandable if you just give up beforehand. The game's pace at the beginning is mind numbingly slow.
