still holding out to get a PS3?  What are the top two reasons for holding out?

My only reasons are:

1) There aren't any "new" next-gen games (games that are not ported).

2) Give Sony time to take troubleshoot any existing issues with PS3s currently owned and resolve them for future PS3s (I will own one then)

I understand you can not like it or anything, but both are big BS...

There's already some exclusive (unless you meant big exclusive such as FF or MGS) and there isn't any big troubleshoot with it...

I would understand if you say you're an addicted online player so you wanna wait to see where Sony will get but not what you mentioned...

Fresh new games that aren't ported or sequels to existing series is what I meant.  The games are mediocre at best.  There are a few out but not enough to warrant a purchase of the console.  My reasons are valid for me.  If you wasn't comfortable with them then maybe you should have never posted.  Thanks.

The system is solid. I wouldn't worry about that. The games are now rolling. It's the perfect time to pick one up. I bought a bunch of games as they came out this month, and I have to ration my time now as to what game to play. Sadly, Oblivion is taking time away from all my other games!! lol

1. Resistance, Virtua Fighter 5, Motorstorm, Untold Legends, Genji, Gundam, Ridge Racer. All exclusive (VF5 being timed), all new, and all next gen. 2. What issues?

Well, even if there are problems, they will most likely have patches to fix them. I was kinda holding out for this reason too but thought what the hey and got it. It has no awesome exclusives yet but it will and getting it later and now is no different. Might as well just get it now. As for the problems, I just thought that Sony will have patches to fix them and any huge problem, I would send the PS3 to them to get it fixed.

1. I don't have the money right now. I just bought a kick ass tv :)

2. I heard that they would change to a 65nm chip like MS is doing. It's also the reason why i don't have a 360..Yet.

3. Few good games atm.

4. I heard that the European price was inflated, and that it would be reduced before christmas. I also heard that Sony wouldn't even consider reducing the price until 2009. So i don't know what to believe :?

I'm holding out to get a PS3 untill the end of Summer, my reasons are:

1) I'm going on Holiday in 2 months till the end of summer so I see no reason to buy a PS3 now.

2) PS2 is still loads of fun and I am anxiously looking forward to GOW2 coming out this Friday in the UK, Can't wait !

 -

Catch me on PSN in Autumn guys 8)

Of those you just listed, how many of them are actually great games?

Resistance- Im not a FPS kind of gamer...

Virtua Fighter-I never liked

Untold Legens/Genji/Gundam- Are these RPGs?  I don't know

Ridge Racer-Is it anything like Burnout Revenge?  If not then I would pass.

1. Resistance, Virtua Fighter 5, Motorstorm, Untold Legends, Genji, Gundam, Ridge Racer. All exclusive (VF5 being timed), all new, and all next gen. 2. What issues? Velric

That's what I meant by issues... When I get my PS3, there won't be any bugs or any patches necessary (hopefully).  All I would focus on are great games with no issues minor or major.

Underlined the ones that are actually new.

By new, he also meant no-sequels.
