thinking of taking my ps3 to my uni house. did/have any of you out there ever brought a console to uni? was it a good or bad choice in terms of learning in your opinion? cheers

I don't go to uni but I can't see how it will possibly help with your learning lol unless you have great self control and are a disciplined person and can manage your time efficiently.

Yes. Uni = short for university.

Hmmm, if I do go it would be a really bad idea for me. But then I would have to leave it at home with my sister and parents and that doesn't sound like a good idea either. I would probably leave it with my best friend but then it probably wouldn't even get used. Choices, if the beach is close by I can manage to stay away from playing PS3 and actually do work there but other than that bringing it would be a bad idea.
