I know nothing about the Unreal Tournament games. the first time i got my hands on one was on the Dreamcast. IT didnt impress me back then but obviously times change. I might get it but im thinking If i get two games this fall ill get Haze and Assassins Creed.
Oh, quick question. My friend claims UT3 has no story/campaign its just multiplayer. is that true?
Not sure really, Im planning on purchasing CoD 4 and maybe Haze...but to get another FPS, thats a little much gor me on games in that department. Maybe i will anyway, UT3 might be great, and i wouldnt want to miss out

Unreal tourney is one of the best online games of all time in my opinion. I have owned them all and all were awesome
as for just multiplayer, unreal 3 is suppose to have an improved single player mode so its not all online, even though thats the best way to play it
I would buy the ps3 version when im getting my ps3 but not anymore because of all teh mouse crap. I was planing to buy it so i could be comfortable using a controller. Mouse users will have a big advantage so it makes no sense.

I think I will be picking it up it looks neat but I am gonna wait for a couple reviews before I buy it, and yes the game will have a single player campaign its already confirmed to be over 10 hours by mark rein. Plus I am deciding if I would buy haze or this tough choice for me...
I dont think i will get it. Im not really convinced, besides im not into the sci fi shooters thats why i dont own RFOM. Just a really weird looking game with plasmids and futuristic things....not into that.

Wow.. play an Unreal game. Just play one. The sense of speed, weapon selection and map selection are SO different. Only thing alike is the Needler and the new mini gun (sorta).Oh and the ghost & manta.

Oh I'll end up playing one, I'm just not anticipating it. I really don't care for sci-fi shooters, I didn't like Resistance at all.
Unreal Tournament all the way come on wide variety of weapons, maps, vehicles, etc. Multiplayer is going to be awesome and plus what do you expect from us just for a sick ass game to come out and sit on our ass and play the same games over and over and let this one just sit on the shelves yeah ok

haha i preordered it 2 man ut3 looks awsome they got some tight weapons great graphics tight vehicles(thts just a few things)online will be an absolute blast single player is supposed 2 be good 2 i just cant wait for this game
i might not any more... since there won't be any cross-platform play. hopefully i can scrape up enough money to get a rig to run the PC version (doubt i will though).

Yes x 1 billion!!! I can't wait for this game. I still want to hear about the single player campaign though. Epic said it won't be the same ladder based SP the old UT games had, but a true SP experience. This is the one and only game i have been hyped for this year.
I am definetly getting this game. After seeing Epic deliver a great success with Gears of War im sure they will bring a game with amazing graphics and totally sick gameplay.

I'll be buying Haze as well... and I'll probably get COD4 at some point. But UT3 will be the BEST shooter avail this year when it comes to the online action. It does have a single player mode too but that has not been the strength of the title in the past.... so I'm not sure how good this year's will be.
But when it comes to weapons, vehicles, & online play... you will definitely be missing out on the best shooter experience this year has to offer if you pass up on this title!
