My apartment at college has cable through Comcast and my parent's house has AT&T DSL. Honestly, the DSL works much better for me as I occasionally get a bit of lag and sometimes I get disconnected a lot here. So far, Comcast hasn't been the best service ever...My parents are upgrading to AT&T U-verse soon and my one buddy who has it says it's terrific so far.

I have AT&T DSL and its great for my ps3! They supplied me with a wireless router and i didn't even know it.

I haven't had one problem when playing online with the ps3.

good to hear cause I have one way cable now (highspeed downloading, not uploading) which really prohibits me from playing any online games. so I cant wait to get the DSL installed and get rid of this crap.

I use DSL and it's ok. It's not the fastest on the block but it allows me (most of the time) to connect. I also live out in the country so the choice is super super slim.

Are you missing a digit, because my DSL is faster than that.

I used to have cable, but it wasn't worth $60 a month to me.

AT&T DSL i have the 3MB connection for $30, and they give you a free wireless modem router.

Here's the thing, they say you get 3MB, but you never get that, the same way I pay for comcast 8MB and I know I'll never get that speed.

I have a DSL and sometimes the games get a bit choppy but overall the DSL works great. Don't worry on the lag it doesn't lag to the point where you can't play anymore. The DSL works great with the PS3 so no worries.

Right, but I still get over 1700kb/s which is faster than 1115kb/s.

Right, but I still get over 1700kb/s which is faster than 1115kb/s.

...i got 55kb/s when i had DSL..i could barely play Guild Wars. On the other hand, my Cable usually clocks in at well over 1000kb/s. My dsl was through Verizon - they really suck around here. I know sometimes it's regional. I had Comcast in DC and it sucked, but it's pretty reliable here in Pittsburgh.
