I will buy it on PS3 cause I mostly game on my PS3, my 360 is just gathering dust. I would get it for PS3 even if Kratos was in the 360 version
Where's the option for I'm buying this game because I only have a PS3 and Mortal Kombat is awesome?The_Rick_14
Same reason for me to! Even though I suck at MK games>
I could care less... I'm not a fan of the GoW games though I respect them for their obvious high quality, and how much other people like it. But this is MK. He's just not that interesting an addition. I thought that the inclusion of characters in "Soul Calibur II" was a lot more imaginative - Link? That was wonderful! Spawn? Awesome (and the best game he's ever been in, LoL), and I forgot the other... but those entries were a bit creative and off the beaten path. Kratos seems, well, like a shoe-in or a natural for it, sure... but just kind of bland, somehow.
I'm looking forward to eventually getting a copy of this game... But I wish the characters were bigger onscreen, like the ones in "MKvDCU" - Those character models are such eye candy in that game (and it plays well, too). I'll buy when the price drops.
As a owner of a PS360 I am going to be picking this game up for my 360. The reason being is that I have a TE fightstick for that console and can not see myself using the PS3 controller or buying another fightstick. Im ok with that and can not wait to play MK!
Hard to answer. I buy most multiplat on PS3, Kratos is a good addition, but it wasn't an argument to pre-order it on the PS3
I'm still unsure ifI will buy the game, but I probably will. And Kratos is a nice bonus so I will choose the PS3 one because of him. I don't think the 360 is getting an extra character at this point, but on the off chance it has a character like Ryu Hayabusa I will definitly get the 360 version instead.
i'm getting it because i loved the 2d mk games.. kratos is just a bonusNaughtyRagThis, I'm just glad i get to play MK in 2.5D, I like Kratos but i would've bought the game anyways even if he wasn't in the game.
i think he fits.. there more characters the better, bring on MK SACKBOY!! lolKratos does not belong in Mortal Combat.

i just hope that kratos didn't take a spot that was going to be used for an original mk character..
I just tried the demo on expert for the first time playing as Sub Zero and noticed everytime you do the ice block move, the AI is very predictable. For instance, Mileena will do her teleport kick. So you can just do that move, hold block, and she'll jump right into it and leave herself in a juggle. I hope this is tuned up for the final release.The_Rick_14
I heard the demo was made before it went through testing. I am sure everything will be tested thoroughly and tuned up before the game is released. I don't take demos too seriously.

Yeah, i really hope they fixed Cage's unstoppable triangle combo.I am buying it on PS3 because I don't own a 360 and if I did I'd still get it because of Kratos slugging it out with Scorpion,

the other was Heihachi Mishima on the PS2 version. Kinda lame as wellI could care less... Console characters are usually dumb. The guest characters in Soul Calibur 2 and 4 were cool the first couple of times and that was it. I could careless about console exclusive content for any game. I have both systems, but I am going to get it for the PS3 because I don't have xbox live and the PS3 controller is better for fighters. Even if the Xbox controller was good for fighters and I had live, I still would get the game for PS3. Why split up multiplatform titles between two sets? I might get a multiplat for Xbox if that version ran vastly superior to the PS3. Most games run about the same on both systems. Even when the PS3 version is technically inferior, it isn't that big of a difference. For example, the critics all claimed that Crysis 2 ran better on 360, but they gave both consoles versions the same score. This indicates that the PS3 must be only slightly worse than the other version.
Anyway, I am going to get game regardless of whether or not Kratos was in the game.

Soul Calibur had Heihachi Mishima, Link?, Spawn?, Darth Vader, Yoda and The Apprentice. The Star Wars characters seemed very out of place in the SC4. Heihachi fit the best in the series because he is a Namco character. Judging just by the kratos trailer, Kratos will fit in perfectly with the rest of the characters. He won't be like Link, Spawn or Darth Vader.
im buying the game regardless whether kratos was in it. But i must say that is nice to have an extra character on the ps3 version. Even though i heard rumors that the 360 might be getting an exclusive character too. If that happens it will be like how soul calibur 4 was with an exclusive character for each system, except you were able to download both characters on one system later on.
