How many PS3 controllers have you gone through?

For me, I've already gone through two. And it's been the same problem both times. When pressing forward on the left analog stick it seems to stick a little bit causing any characters that need to move forward to skip a little. I'm guessing this is normal wear on the controller to happen two times already, although my last controller lasted about 2 months. I tried taking it apart to see if I could fix it. Putting it back together was just frustrating and it soon went in the garbage. I'm going to look for the Dualshock 3 today I suppose. Hopefully it will last. Anyone ever have a similiar problem with their controllers?

I have still got the 2 controllers, one from launch, and one that I got when I bought warhawk.

mine kept sticking as well exactly the same problem, all i did to fix it was push on the analog stick really hard and it solved the problem never got stuck again

I have two, the Six-Axis that came with the console (nothing is wrong with it) and now i have a DualShock3.

I did have to replace my Psx and Ps2 controllers at a point in time because some of the buttons would stick,but that because of years of abuse.

None, I still have my original lauch controller (Dec. 06) and my rumble controller I bought in Dec of 07.

the 2 controllers i got with the ps3 bundle had the same problem in a 3 months period of time... right analog stick seems to be jammed and leans always to the left making it impossible to play FPS games or practically any other game... in all i got 5 controllers now (2 are damaged) :(

I still have 2 controller came with ps3. I bought dual shock controller recently.
