How many times have you died in Dark Souls?

I'm debating on getting this game because it looks fun despite people saying it's insanely difficult. I'm curious to know how many times you people have died.

Feel free to go into detail about any funny deaths.

I just started playing it again and I'm on NG+, I can't remember how many times I died on my first playthrough but since restarting it today and playing for a good 7 hours I've died twice due to toxic (so always make sure you have toxin cures).

It's a wonderful game and you should definitely get it, no matter how many times you die it's a worthwhile experience.

Blighttown is still messed up, the framerate alone kills you so many times xD

You just respawn as soon as you die, no one keeps count. Might as well count how many times you've died in the first Bioshock or TF2, or CS....

It's definitely in the hundreds somewhere. 

Anyone still play Demons souls? I could use a hand with the platnium trophy.

It is a really strange thing, but every time I die in the game, I feel better...
