Well, I'm not to grand at the numbers guessing game but I suppose it'll certainly surpass Killzone 2 numbers and I'd probably go so far as to say it'll probably do MGS4 if not more. And I'm not even gonna think on the bananas amount consoles it'll probably sell if Sony (which they more or likely will) they make a bundle or limited edition PS3 type thing, like they did w/ MGS4.
It'll definitely sell more than Killzone 2, God of War is a well known and loved franchise by many. Actually I know some people who are buying a PS3 just for God of War III.

Exactly Flame, that's what I think it really gonna set the sales of GOW3 over the roof more than any other PS3 exclusive (and maybe even some of MS's). I, too, have heard much of the same thing from quite a few people. That's why i mentioned MGS4 as well, because I think on a console selling level I think Sony is definitely gonna be raking it in--especially if they do some bundles--big on the console selling market because there's more of a better demographic for people that love and play GOW.

They do when you keep track of that sort of thing. I love the series so I'd like to how well it does in total sales which doesn't take away from the fact that it will be an awesome game. In this tough economic time heck yes sales matter!:o

He said it could probably be the highest selling ps3 game ever. How do you know it won't be? Just because they are still making games? LOL. What if it sells 5 million copies (random number)and IS the highest selling game of all time (on the ps3)? Just because game companies are still creating games does not mean they will sell more copies then something that was made previously. You should try to make sense yourself before commenting like you did on what someone else said.
I don't think that Killzone 1's failure had an impact at all on the sales of Killzone 2. It was hyped so incredibly much, for so incredibly long, that I'm not necessarily expecting all that much better out of God of War.
