how much does a plasma screen tv cost in your country?

hey everyone! Actually I have a question I've been wanting to ask for a very long time, for a number of reasons.

people think that the PS3 looks horrible in av. Yes, they are right, but some people can't afford a plasma cause of how expensive it is! Like me, I have a PS3, but no plasma, cause it's rediculously priced in my country.

I live in Egypt and over here it cost 6000 pounds, which means $1052. And that's not even a big on it's just medium sized! Thanks for reading and comment back!

my friend bought a 42` plasma for 999 bucks..and yes ps3 looks great on it

i have a 27`lcd hdtv that i paid 350 bucks for that looks just as good.

yah maybe for u guys ,dollars but I mean 6000 pounds is mean really alot to me and to any one over here too.

like ps3 it cost here at egypt 4444pounds which mean 779$ dollars(ps3 60 GB)but I didnt buy it from here cause its really exspensive.

In Sweden you can get a pretty good plasma screen 50" for 3500 USD.

thats alot of money for a 40` tv without 1080p.
