How much longer will the psp/ds last?

Until the next round of next-gen portable game systems come out?

Psp has been out what, 2 years and a bit?

What are your thoughts/educated guesses

the psp has been out a little more than 3 years and i still dont have it, but i'd still give it another good 3 years or so.hollin24

it came out march 05... thats not 3 years... at least I think it was march 05. I know it came out after the DS which came out November of 04 I think. So its been out alittle more than 2 years. I think it still has at least 2 more years on it before a new handheld comes out. They might pull a Nintendo though and release a "better" PSP.

Well the PSP handles PSX emu and that level of games, PSP2 should be able to handle PS2 type games. and so many years later PSP3 should be able to handle PS3 type games. My question would be, what's going to power those systems?
