How much more better is MGS 4 compared to the other MGS? (Console)

I really thought MGS 3 was their weakest offering, it really let me down somewhat.

its the most solid mgs. i agree that 3 was a letdown. 4 makes up for it in every way and then some.useLOGIC

just curious, what about three was so unappealing?

I really enjoyed 3 ALOT. It was more stelth orinted. I played the whole game with just my knife. I was a little disspointed the MGS4 wasn't like that. But i don't care now, i love MGS4. MGS3 story was really good too. The last buch of twist had my head spinning for a while.

I think MGS2 weakest for obvious reasons(*cough* girly man *cough*). But one thing i loved two was collecting the dogtags.

I need to replay MGS1, i only managed to finish it once, a long time ago and its a bit foggy.

I believe it's better than MGS2 & 3 but as good as MGS1.

Dude... MGS4 is the best in series, the first one was good but i don't like old-school games, the second ROCKED, the third one was a letdown... so yeah MGS4 is the best... yet...
