[QUOTE="Zen_Light"]Why would a cartridge game need to be installed in the first place? i am guessing he means save games file. since some games needed a memory card to save your game right?Correct. Okay, I will clarify this a bit for people who either don't own a Vita yet and don't know about this, or people who own a Vita but maybe don't own any cartridges or don't own a cartridge that does this. Whenever you place a new game into your Vita, and fire it up for the first time, the game will install some information onto your Vita which you need to install in order to run the game. As shinigami-uk said, I think this information is just the save data for the game. The reason why not all cartridge games do this is because some games enable you to save directly onto the game cart. Personally I prefer my game saves to be saved onto a memory card, but games that save to the cart aren't really a bad idea where the Vita is concerned right now, since the system has a huge issue with the cost of proprietary memory chips. And to answer the OP's question, I don't know. But I felt like I should explain things to the other posters here, since a lot of people still aren't real clear on how saves work on the Vita. Hope someone can answer the question. The game comes out in the US in a few days I think, so somebody should be able to answer your question soon.[QUOTE="Zaladin3"]
