Hi,

I'll be coming in to a lump of money in august/september thanks to my exams, and I'm looking to add a ps3 to my collection.

I've been browsing gumtree, and seen some for about £150-£200, with no games.

Do you reckon prices will stay like this until september for 2nd hand consoles, and is that some of the cheapest prices I'll find without importing from japan or whatever?

Thanks.

I would imagine that prices for second hand PS3's will stay where they are for a while- at least until sony does another price drop (which probably won't happen anytime soon) or makes one of the models obsolete (like the 20 gig). You can also check out ebay, but if you're going to buy a used console, just be safe and make sure you get some sort of warranty.

I predict there may be a slight price drop by October, for the 40gb model atleast.

The "experts" are predicting price drops for both Sony and Microsoft around the holiday season which starts roughly in November.
