I have yet to beat it actually. 1st time (while ago) i stopped right before the facing sephiroth. 2nd time last semester I stopped because I hated my roommate. Does it make sense? No. Come up with your own entertaining story that could link me hating my roommate and why I stopped playing. You're probably right. (Hint: nothing's wrong with the discs, tv or hardware)
24, I just bought the game this past year. Didn't get into PS products until towards the end of the PSOne life cycle. After playing crisis core I wanted to get more of the story and see what's so great about ff7.
I was 11 or so, but only beat it around the age of 15. I enjoyed it and played it at a consistant rate over the four years. Thing is, I had crappy Performance brand memory cards that would always currupt my save data for FF7.
I remember making it to Cosmo Canyon and crapping myself in excitement because I never made it that far... Turned on my system the next day to get a currupt data message.
Took me forever to finally realise it was the memory cards that sucked.
I was 7 when it came out. The first time I played it i got hooked right away. And today I still love it and I'll have to say its the best game I've ever played.
