I will be purchasing a used 60gb PS3 (CECHA01) soon and was wondering if I have anything to fear in particular?

My 60gb was pre-owned & I've had it for a year now, using it nearly every day. It's awesome. Maybe I've been lucky up to now though because there have been a lot of reports on that version crapping out. Take good care of it & you can't hurt your chances. Also back up your save data just in case.

Yeah I've heard about a few more units crapping out when a large number of people were playing Batman:AA on the 60GB.
The one I'm looking at is a refurbished 60 GB PS3 from a reputable seller on ebay so I'm hoping I'm not the unfortunate one to get a bad system.
I guess I should look for a backward compatible 80 GB one as well just incase I see a good deal.
Lol @ the guy recommending a 360. I respect the 360's games but I have zero respect for the hardware!
Buying used systems is NOT a good idea. :sStealthMonkey4I know but I actually am one of the few who likes FULL backward compatibility so I have no choice. I've had a fat ps2 brand new since 2001 and it hasn't crapped out on me so maybe used and a couple years old ps3 will do just as well :)
