What do you guys think about this? As long as its not advertising like, "your game will begin in 5 seconds." then I'll be fine. Whatever keeps Home free.

I think it's fine, as long as there isnt some overdose of advertising. I can't complain reallly, I'm glad Home will be free.

Banners and tv's on the walls in Home, you can see them in any video you see of Home. They're not obtrusive but they can get the word out for a new game extremely well.

I actually to a point I'd enjoy the advertising as long as it sticks to advertising new games in development and not Coca Cola or pepsi. I can see it definitely make me interested in a game I would have a great time with that I otherwise wouldn't look at.

So long as its free. I dont even think its really a need now till the 08 games are out in full. Key games like GT5 and Killzone or whatever, is when they'll need to have all that working. GT5 online is gonna be huge, but we dont need to worry about that for now. Anytime you take the best sim racer ever, make it a true next game in full "not just Prologue", and than stick it online. Yea I think that the gear heads "like myself even" will come from everywhere. That game will lead the push of what going on into 09. After MGS4 and Killzone or whatever do their things. But racers hanging out at HOME and stuff. That will be pretty cool.

I for one encourage it, as long as there are never any Nintendo or M$ ads :P

i think this will lead to some really creative advertising, like new mini games or demos sponsored by this or that product.
