How to be sure to get the CUH-7100?

Looking to replace my faulty PS4 Pro i wanna be sure to get the newest model (CUH-7116B). Ordering the console online it’s difficult to make out the model number There’s a nice holiday discount on the bundle with Gran Turiamo Sport though and i just wonder if that’s the new or the old model (7000 or 7100), anyone knows?

@GTR12: Yeah it’s a Swedish website but unfortunately they don’t know. They haven’t even heard of there being a new model.

Can you ask them to open the box and tell you which model it is?

According to Sony fangirls such thing is IMPOSSIBLE ! PoS4 fat, slim or pro are perfect !

Well, that’s according to them.

I have found that PoS4 slim is just a little bit quieter than PoS fat which, btw, is noisy as hell.

@xantufrog: The CUH-7116B has a different heatsink but what's most ipmortant...quieter APU-fan. There are pics online (CUH-7000 vs. CUH-7100) that compare the two versions. A quieter fan is what i value the most.

The image on the website that's selling the console has the old model number (7015B), look at the top right of the picture.

The new picture has the model number at the bottom left.

Received the new PRO today and fortunately it was the 7116B. I wonder about the slight discolouration (only really visible in strong light or when shining a flashlight directly on it) round the logo ontop of the console though, anyone else noticed this?

@raugutcon: Yeah i hate my OG ps4 it sounds so damn loud.

@Izak80: looking for a quieter fan ? ...... you should have purchased X1 instead.
