get them a good game everyone loves and knows aka Halo/mario then bring them into another great one no one's heard of such as lets say Viva pinata recomend him to play that for a while and he should be a gamer

Good point. My dad totally hates video games because he could never kill that first guy in the Dam level of Goldeneye on the N64. I couldn't tell you how many times he tried, and every time he was shot down. lol

hahaha, I love that game... I always died in the jungle level... it's quite a bit further in the game though.

hahaha, I love that game... I always died in the jungle level... it's quite a bit further in the game though.
i thought it was only me who kept dying in the jungle level!

Have them watch myself and at least one gamer friend play multiplayer. Made many people interested in gaming when they watched myself and two friends go 1 on 1 on 1 in smash brothers and goldeneye for n64. But with a big screen and a ps3, it's much easier :D
you let them play to easiest most simple nubish game out there (after trying Super Stardust, and Calling All Cars and not being able to do basically anything, i decided to let my dad play Super-Rub-a-Dub, lol he really liked it, no buttons to push is a plus for those "challenged" gamers out there :) ) or you just let them play wii :lol:
