how to get my disc out

my ps3 got ylod today, bu my disc is still in there, what to do?

If you've got a 40gb, turn the console off by the switch at the back, then hold your finger on the eject button, then switch it back on. It should run a fan test and the disc will pop out. Not sure if this works on other models, but definately worked on my 40gb.

No problem. This should really be better documented though, as a lot of people have asked this, and would also be good to know if it worked on other models.

i really want to get my game saves back, can i take out my HD and put it in a external HD?
