Read all of this first before you post. I know form past experience that when a main user is deleted all of the saves and downloaded content is deleted forever.. But i'm wondering if there is a way for my downloaded games not to be deleted on my other user on the same ps3? NOTE: about a month ago i had 2 profiles on the same ps3 a main acc and a noob acc both for online play.. i had the cod4 map pack and other games on the main acc but when i deleted the main acc all of that stuff was gone from my noob acc also! I want to delete my main acc again but i don't want my noob acc to lose all the stuff that i have downloaded cause i don't want to pay for it again just cause i deleted a user.. Anyone have any tips and advice on how i can keep all of my games without having to buy them again?
Well both of my users are on the same ps3 but i had to use diff emails in order to have 2 online accounts.. on my noob account there is no history of the games that have been downloaded in the psn store but if i go on my main i can see all the stuff i downloaded.

Once you install those games and whatnot onto your PS3, cant you just back them up into a USB or something? That way, you still have all your downloaded content saved, even though you lose it all on your noob account.
It's 2 diff psn accounts guys ok let me give a better example.. My main acc is the one i bought games from the psn store on and my noob acc is the one that just gets to be able to play those games as long as my main account is still active.. but the thing is once i delete my main account the downloaded games will dissapear from my noob account and i will have to buy the dl content from the psn store again.. i don't want to rebuy games just cause i no longer want to have my main acc on my ps3 anymore.

Which is why i say that you should install the files on you PS3, and them back them up on a USB to be safe. That way, they'll still be on your system, and you wont have to rebuy.
Not that it's relevant to the question you are asking.....but why do you want to delete your main account??

Just to let you know, once those games you have on your PSN are installed into the PS3, they won't be deleted. Backing them up is just a precaution in case something happens to your PS3, and you want to re-download your games and stuff into a new ps3. And Yes it's safe. Here's a link to show you how.

A USB device is easy to find, and very cheap as well.
Perhaps but it would require me driving a few miles away to the store.. i was looking for a faster/easier option.. this crap is annoying me i'm gonna rest a bit.. Keep the replies coming people!
If you dont want to lose your games then i suggest you just leave that account on your ps3. Just dont use that account when you're gaming online if you're tired of people ragging on your name. There's no penalty for having multiple accounts on your ps3, hell i've got three on mine.

make a new user and make a PSN account for it, and make it "based on existing account" and then your download list should be in your transaction management options under PlayStation Network.
Heres the deal guys i just held my breath and deleted my former main user.. and to my surprise i still have all of my downloaded games.. but unfortunately i do not have my cod4 map pack anymore.. thats no biggie to me tho.. cause MW2 comes out in less than 4 months! also i got quite the library of games to keep me entertained until then. Thanks all for trying to help.

Ok guys my last post and update on this matter... I just created another and under the screen where you create a new psn id what i did was choose use existing account and i logged on with the email and pass of my old main acc.. i still have the trophies and stuff like that.. i'm downloading the games again FREE cause the data is still saved showing that i once downloaded the games before.. So once the games are downloaded i just won't play the main acc anymore.... Let this be a lesson to anyone that may screw up like myself.. but luckily i was able to break even.

And they is upsides and downsides to deleteing it.. upsides is i get rid of that account name that everyone online hates,another upside is my new acc name is much much better/cooler.. it also gives me the chance of earning some trophies again.
