How to regain Mana in Demon's Souls?

Hey whats up guys. I have been playing Demon's Souls as a Magician and I can't figure out whethere there is somethign I can do to regain mana. I am not finding any items, nor can I find any action to make it fill up. Thanks

If you haven't progressed too far, I recommend you restart as a royal, because their starting equipment includes a mana regenerating ring. I want to stick with melee combat on my character, but thanks to that ring and my weak-ass starting spell, I managed to defeat quite a few foes no problem (tower knight boss is no threat with that class for example)
