How will YOU play MGS4

I feel that with all the hype of MGS4, some people have forgotten some of the new gamplay options and choices that the game will feature. I just want to know how you guys will play the game using these new features, specifically the ability to choose sides in the battles that ensue between the militia men and the PMCs and the ability to choose between stealth gameplay and action gameplay.

For me, I think I will try to stick with the stealth gameplay as much as i can, however, there may be some exceptions because I want to utilize the new controls in all ways possible within the main game. So i would do a little mixing of stealth and action gameplay. As for the side choosing, I don't like having many choices in videogames, but if i had to choose, I would fight for the militia men, just because they seem to be at a disadvantage in terms of weaponry.

How will you play MGS4?

firts i will play stealth in all modes : easy , normal etc , and then i will play with the new game play elements on all difficulties :Dtktosc666

That is where force is needed if I decide to help some soldiers to gain their trust or where I'm in a situation that requires me to go into battle, and this one will have a lot.

I will start on HARD...

I like to tranquilize people then kill them up close, and hide the body :)mgkennedy5

Acording to the 40 minute gameplay shown by Kojima, he did hide a body in a locker.

I will help country A or B by killing the opposition, and after I've gained their trust, I'll kill them too :)

After seein Pro's play on the hardest difficulty for the previuos title's i have to say that many ppl dont know stealth till they beat it on the hardest difficulty. You cant even be cuaght once. As for MGS4 thye might make it easier for casual ppl, money money :)CoreoVII

That's what multiple difficulty settings are for in the first place :|, not everyone wants the game to be a hardcore slog.

But dude, MGS can be picked up by anyone! Crazy casual will play in Easy, players in Normal/hard and Hardcore masochist will play it in European Extreme (or whatever is the name of tha mode. You can't be spotted or it's game over).

And I don't think Kojima would sell his soul and turn the game more causal friendly...

Well, Kojima and Payton have said many times that stealth is NEEDED to play this game. Running and gunning will only result to a continue screen really fast. Which is fine by me, cause I've always played stealthy anyways in all the previous MGS games. I'll use all my resources aswell, especially with the Octocam suit and kill anyone that gets in my way (since kill = weapons and items I can sell to Drebin)

As far as the militia go, I might help them if I feel sorry for them with ammo to spare, or if it'll benefit me lol

hmm I'll have to try everything and see what inspires me the most as I fire up the game... but as of righ now I'll probably go pretty balanced through most of the game just to get a feel for everything the first time around... Stealth at times and some action depending on how fun it is... but I'll probably resort to stealth first...

then a second time through I'll decide based off my first time

Yea, I just saw a vid where Ryan Payton suggests that the game be played in pure stealth.

I guess that'll be what I do. Payton's been working on the game for a while. I think he should

know the best way to play.
