I'm planning on getting this game, and am waiting to see whether it would be worth it or not, but not all of us can get the beta keys :P I've heard it's got tons of bugs... but assuming they can fix these bugs, will it be a good game?

Socom
Fall out 3
Loving it, if you liked Socom2, you'll love Socom:Confrontation. If they get the bugs worked out its going to be some great times for sure. Heck since being in the beta I've added like 10 friends lol. Its a blast and normally everyone has a mic. Some games alot of chatter but then some matches just alot of thinking going on :)
The Beta is broken. Sure, it should be fixed before release, but with all the time the developers had to work on this game till now they should be ashamed of themselves considering how far off the mark this beta hits. This game, the way the beta plays, should in no way be ready for store shelves by mid October. People who love Socom are relieved to have their beloved game with third person perspective and tactical action again, and they will look past all the (many) issues with this product for sake of their favorite shooter's reputation. This game has the potential to trump alot of online shooters, but I don't think they can do it in time. Maybe, like RB6V2, after a couple of post-release patches the game will be as enjoyable as Socom2.SnoSlider-PS3-
this guy is right, I am a SOCOM fan and this in no way is a next gen socom, nor will it be by october, that would take no less than a miracle... Even the mgo beta did not change much from the final product..

Im a Socom fan also and this game IS Socom, i dont know what else you want. The only difference to me is the over-the-shoulder view which can be switched from left to right shoulder.
ya the gameplay is good, i think they fixed it but they are having problems with thier servers so it takes like 5 mins to join a match, but the game is extreammly fun, better then cod4Loving it, if you liked Socom2, you'll love Socom:Confrontation. i think the game is intence!the game itslef is so good once u get started in an actual match , every1 has mics , not like cod4 were like 1/2 got mics and they all talkin with cra.ppy quality , in socom the quality is like awesome , and only 1 peroson talks at a time , sure there r some laggs here and there , and the loading is kinda hideous , but again , this is only a beta , remember mgo beta ? with all the dc and stuff , and now they actually fixed that , on the cra.ppy konami server , not imagine the psn server , its all gonna be smooth and stuff , this is a must buy game , but if ur a kid , plz dont bother coz is complicated , and only adults play itlocieferya i agree!! in cod4 its was filled with annoying kids! but socom is usally the older players, mainly because it is realistic to the max
LOL, man don't listen to these people. The people that are lying to you here are the same ones that say EVERY LAST PS3 game is awesome. The game is boring repetitive, and NOTHING like the good shooters of a Call of Duty game. This game should've stayed a single player oriented game, then it would've had a chance in hell. And for those people wondering, yes I am in the beta. Plain and simple DON'T get Socom:Confrontation cuz the game is nothing to brag about!I'm planning on getting this game, and am waiting to see whether it would be worth it or not, but not all of us can get the beta keys :P I've heard it's got tons of bugs... but assuming they can fix these bugs, will it be a good game?
