Being playing this quite a bit lately, but I'm still not seeing the full potential of the teamwork aspects being put to the test. Anyone had some matches with good squad leaders, and just teamwork in general? can be hit and miss but it seems to be getting better each time i play. That's good because I need an expert to tell me what to do. I'm loving it though. Very addictive gameplay. Sony shoulda done a bundle with headset for this baby...just like they did with SOCOM.

Would you have wanted all of your team to talk to you and then you want to mute someone and have to go find their name? I think it would be better if they didn;t
I started with Sver too and currently at level 30. teamwork is usually good. medics rush to fallen teamates. If teamates callout enemy position someone will scope it out. As long as one or two people have mics then things usually go well. Sver however always seems to win so I dunno if the other factions just suck, don't use teamwork or got the short end of the stick when it came to map layouts.
The teamwork is pretty good. I've had some matches with people who use mics and great squad and commander leaders and it was great. It seems that the 256 player Domination game mode has the best teamwork and is the most fun one to play. I love this game. Valor by the way.
Don't let the beginning of the game get you down. I thought the game was kinda slow until at least level 8 when you can unlock the 256 player mode. [QUOTE="POPEYE1716"]

Not really. Last time I checked, SVER was the 2nd largest pmc, but that really wouldn't matter too much anyways. BTW, I might be getting a SVER clan started. Check my blog for some more info
the teamwork is great... but the elitist players are annoying.. SVER lost a sabotage match against Raven with 4 seconds left on the clock and my squad leader [female dog]'d at our entire team out for like 2 minutes talking about thats the first game he's lost in 20 levels. =/

Check my blog for some more info The number of members in a faction has nothing to do with how well they do. Each faction has their appeal, and everyone will play based on their comfort zone. Luckily, there are very competent players who play for S.V.E.R., and they seem to do really well. To answer the original question of the thread, the teamwork, on ALL factions so far, have been surprisingly good. You will have those days where as S.V.E.R. we might be defending our base, but (I've noticed this of Raven especially) the opposition can use confusion, surprise, and overwhelming numbers to overtake an objective. These are the players that win. Of course, you will have those games where there is no contest, and I may end up yielding anywhere from 600 to 1k Experience. It depends on who's playing at the time you are.

Its bundled with a headset in NZ, or you get a headset with it anyway in NZ. And i cant wait for the NZ release 11 Feb, its availble online but i dont like buying online. :( Might not get it at release.

I do play well on them..... but I very highly doubt it. I've lost on the SVER maps, so from what I can see, they aren't unfair maps. Meh, it depends on how you see things. I reckon they're all pretty even and just SVER has a slight advantage in Sabotage cause it has a good snipe point at the front but can be easily immobilised too.
I don't get why people claim you need a headset...You can still help your team win without one and for a person that'll be sniping like myself I don't see how I'm not enjoying the game to it's fullest if I'm not using a headset...
It is definitely getting better as time goes by. I am a level 43 (or 44?) and so far at least on Svr's side, teamwork is always present. I noticed that there is not any communication when their are newbies playing, which of course is normal. Give it 2-3 weeks when the majority of people know that maps and have the basics down, and I can see the teamwork experience expanding.
Gets better everytime I play. The games I played last night were great because there were quite a few people with mics.

Wow ... i cant honestly play that well knowing that half my team doesnt have mics ... its annoying really when we cant communicate and plan where we have to go and what we have to do or what support to call and where ...

the headset keeps u in touch with your team dude and they can request ur help ... it is a team game after all and its better to go where u r needed the most ... not just be a lone soldier killing enemies
WOOOOW !! How did they do that ??? and y does everyone keep saying tht the maps r SVER biased ?? ... i played the beta and they r biased for each team ... defense is always easier than offence .. so i dont c y ppl keep getting annoyed by it =/
