Updates normally occur on Thursdays. But nothing beats Last Week's, as of yet.T-Zone

The PS3 does not upscale anything at this point. The 1080i issue was that games being payed on 1080i HDTVs that did not have 720p were being downscaled to 480p. They fixed that issue. All you have to do is set the PS3 to output 1080p, and your TV will downscale to 1080i for you. BD movies can be downscaled from 1080p to 1080i, but not to 720p. If you only have a 720p TV, the BDs will be downscaled to 480p. Correct me if I'm wrong on this. Also, there is a rumor that since they removed the emotion engine, PS2 games will be able to be upscaled to 720p or 1080i with a software update.[QUOTE="tsr__"]They already did. Yes. Sony will probably render the emotion engine useless once they start shipping the units w/o them to the US. It would not make sense to have one model with the EE and one w/o. The PS3's with the EE will most likely use the emulation software once it's released.Please Log In to post.
