I almost had a heart attack last night....

Yesterday was just a regular day, the night came, I toke a shower whaterver ect. I stayed up watching tv, some program about murdders and shootings. It was 1amand it started raining, nothing special. Then around 1:25am the rain turn into what seem like a hurricane. I was like WTF is going on, but whatever I keep watching TV. OUT of nowhere lightning hit my bedroom window (and my bed is press right infront of that window), I saw like a ball of fire when it hit, I flip the **** out. The whole house was with out electricity for like 10mins, I like a true gamer the only thing I cared about was if my ps3 was alright. I checked my computer, I checked the printer, a new printerthat I bought and installed yesterday. They were alright. I when to my PS3, turn it on and I look at the screen and its black with 3 big white lines going up and down. "NOOOO!!! NOT MY PS3!" I said. I toke my PS3 to the living room and hocked it up to the tv there and it woked perferctly. YAY!!!

It turned out itwas my TV that as that broke from the lightning. I wasnt upset that my tv broke becuz it was an old 24 inch SDTV, and since last week I was planning on getting a new tv, I went to a couplestores already tolook at the pricesofTVs.

Has anything like this ever happened to you?

This happened to me twice! Once at my parents and then once since living on my own ... I hate god, he hates me ... it's fair

Im going to be honest here. Lightening is too scared to strike anywhere near me. I'm a bit of a warrior.

Lightning struck our internet router, where it then traveled all the way to my PS3 and fried it. I can turn it on, but it only shows the sparkles in the beginning and then it totally freezes. I managed to get it working yesterday, so I then copied all my important saves onto a memory stick because I'm not too sure how to backup utility on my hard drive. I'm planning to get a Slim in a couple weeks... on of them bundles with the controller and 2 games for $400. idk if I need to deactivate anything on my broken PS# in order for everything to work on my slim I'm getting... can anyone think of anything I need to do?

Yeah I have a protection plan for my computer so I wasnt worrying about that, the only I was concern for was my PS3. Now I need to buy a Tv :P

One time there was a fire in my basement and i was temporarily living down there I was at the local mall with some friends and my dad called me and said there was a fire and first thing that came out of my mouth " oh snap...are my games okay " he just starting laughin and said they were fine...PHEW they were .
