I almost had Killzone 2 yesterday!

What could have been. So i was killing time looking at some PS3 games at Wal Mart yesterday(Friday) when what game do i see KILLZONE 2! Like 15 copies just sitting there in the case! My heart skipped a beat and i could not believe it, could I play the most anticipated release of the year a full week early? I got an employee to open the case and we went to the register to ring it up, when he scanned the game the register started beeping and a message came up saying "Product not authorized" I was like oh crap nooooooo! he then looked looked it up on his computer and told me that he could not sell it until the 27th and that someone had accidentally put it out. I pleaded with him to no avail. He then proceeded to remove all copies of the game. BUMMER!!! o well less than a week to go.

BTW anyone else have a simaler experience or was successful in getting it?

i got it like a 2 weeks ago.....but online isnt up yet =(

Sorry to see that about a game you've been waiting for. But in a sense, they get pissy over stuff like that anyways so it's kinda good that he couldn't sell it to you. They seem to be trying to really crack down on that.

Though, I would've lost my head back in June if it were me and MGS4 lol

Killzone 2 R3 is already released in the Philippines however online play is not yet available until Feb27. pinoy gamers have already finished it.
