Yeah, I had a ps1 and ps2 when I was a kid, but I made the switch to xbox360 at the start of the year, and man, I dont regret it one bit, even after playing on my mates ps3 for a while. Xbox 360 got a mad live system, a mad marketplace where you can download all the demos and videos for the games on the market at super fast download rates. Personally I even reckon some of the original xbox games are better than Ps3 games, like fable.

And xbox360 is having a major game wave, mass effect, assasins creed, halo3 and plus we get most of the games that Ps3 get plus these exclusives. Also man you should start this post in the neutral section, a general forum, because your only getting a one sided opinion in the ps3 section. Have a look at the list of games avaliable on x360 and on Ps3 before you make your decision.

If your desperate to play Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Lair (lol) then yer pick one up otherwise I would wait until 2008 thats when the real games our coming out.

If your into pc gaming you should be too busy with Crysis, Hellgate london and COD4 soon:D

Killzone 2 is out in 2008 (one of the real games I was talking about), Haze isn't looking toogood to me I hope it's great but I read somewhere its not shaping up well, All those other games are multiplat so yep I think the real games are coming out in 2008.

I haven't played on the ps3 yet but its suposed to have really good graphics so eventually I'll try some games on there. As for other systems as long as the games are good it doesn't matter. Well except for the slim ps2 i hate it.

Oh and if your thinking of getting a plasma tv for the ps3 don't they don't last long go fora regular flat screen
