I cant connect to the PSN.

I forwarded ports, I opened DMZs, I unplugged my router and modem and NOTHING WORKS.

I keep trying to sign in and then it signs in and then disconnects when I try to connect to BFBC2 BETA and other games and it is pissing me off!\

can someone help or do I have to purchase a new router?

PLUS Uncharted 2 Online is not working for me!

 HELP ME!

It could be your IP or the router needs to be teaked a bit. I have a old D-Link that the last firmware I was able to get was a few years ago and it works perfectly most of the time. It has failed when there were updates on my providers modem that I had to work around. Also did you asign a single IP address for the PS3 in the DMZ and manually add it to your PS3's settings as well. I found that selecting a number that is so far from the main IP really works best.

This sounds kinda like the problem I had. Sounds like you need to go into Safe Mode and reset your default settings.

I made a thread about it a little while back. Here's the link. There's a description of what you need to do in the thread:

The thing is when I try over 5 times, I do connect and everything seems fine...

until I play games with the multiplayer, then everything shuts off and I have to try and try again...

why has this console forsaken me?

What happens when you plug the net connection directly into the PS3? I have a ton of problems with my wireless connection... so many that it basically makes my wireless card worthless. I've taken to just using my hardline for the PS3.
