Bioshock, my friend, Bioshock.gbpman630
QFT, though I do, admittedly, rank Far Cry as one of the most overrated shooters of all time. But Bioshock is amazing, my friend.
If you want a game with amazing atmosphere, great music, and an interesting story go for Bioshock.
If you want to actually have fun shooting things, have a map editor, have multiplayer, likely a longer game, use vehicles, and have replay value go with Far Cry 2.
I bought the special edition of Bioshock for the 360 and after beating it once I was done with it. There was really no reason to play through it again, most people that really liked the game seem to say the same. Bioshock can be finished easily as a rental. Once you know the story what makes it a really good game for most people is pretty much over and it has no online modes to keep you playing once SP is done.
I absolutely loved Bioshok on the 360, but after you beat it once (which should take around 20-25 hours)
The game is not 20-25 hours long. I beat it getting almost all the achievements, and I think only missing one or two audio diaries and I don't remember taking half that long. Bioshock doesn't even have you spending extra time with it from all the times you die thanks to the respawn system. It is not a long game. The environment might be interesting, but it isn't that big and fighting the same stupid enemies and big daddies gets old pretty quickly. The arrows pointing where you need to go next also doesn't help make the game last a long time.
