My PS3 makes fun of me when I try to load a PS2 game. I then remind it that there are only 2 PS3 games I have and I'm bored of those. It accepts it with a sigh, but I'm going to surprise it with VF5 today. It should be happy.
my ID is voltsx2 and for the comment about 480i or w/e i have a standard def TV. once i did try playing kindom hearts 2 and it was working but it stoped when i tried making a new game. i did the same for ace combat 5, and my other games just wont get past the blank screen.Â
Try resetting it by holding down the on button (and keep held) while turning it on in the back. Sounds like Sony support. Better back up your saves, I'm sure they will have you format the hard drive.
I'd call Sony first. I would back up your saves before calling them though. They have good support and might have you try something else first. Formatting the drive would be a last resort.
