I can't stand the drunks/deranged in Assassins Creed

They always push me and ONLY me, it gets so annoying especially when I'm after a target or trying to run away.

THE WORST THOUGH are the drunks on the docks that push you into the water to drown, I was trying to get to one of towers and died like 10 times.

Now I just kill them when they push me, I use the long sword, chase them, punch them and then I use the KILLER blade to stab them in their throat.

Exactly, they are annoying. But no need to kill them, simply grab them & Altair will push them away.

Yeah, they are fairly annoying so I just punch em if it's really bothering me.

It was really bad when I had to assassinate about 5 templars.. I'd come up behind one and a drunk would punch me and then that would break my cover and I'd have to start the mission again. That happened about ten times. I mean, I guess it was good in a way that I didn't do it all really easily.

^^^they're drunks in the game, especially around the docks........ it even mentions it in the game. something along the lines of, "What's worse than a drunk pirate, is an angry drunk pirate." when you complete one of the investigations.

I found this fact quite funny when I played the game. A guy who's supposed to be this godly (godliest as many of the side characters make it seem) assassin can't swim, yet can climb anything, leap building to building, and do incredible soaring dives/flips into hay from towers/castles/churches/etc. Guess everyone has their own kryptonite. And I also kill the derlicks/drunks although I usually use a leaping hidden blade kill. The beggars I just do the silent hidden blade kill usually right next to a bench if possible as I find it very funny as I kill someone and sit next to their body and they can't find me.

If anyone gets in my way I just kill them with the hidden blade.

You know those informer "assinate so and so" missions are sooo much easier if you take to the rooftops lock onto the target from the roof and throw a throwing knife. If you're locked on its a one hit kill and then you can just run away on the rooftops. This way you dont have to deal with being discreet when other guards are walking near your target and you have easy access to run away. Plus you don't have to deal with the drunks/deranged people or the annoying beggar ladies.

I think I hated the ladies more since they would go out of their way to step right in front of you. I got knocked out by a few drunks on the dock. But I just punched them and they fell in the water and drowned. Good times...

Oh, those dock people drove me INSANE. So I just finally said F' it and I started to kill them. I got them first before even the guards. It's funny how they ONLY go after you. I REALLY hate those beggars too. Especially in the middle of following someone, you get like 2 of this b'ches comming at you getting in your way. I kill them too. I had quite a frustrating time during my first run, so after I beat it I got some "revenge" and just went on a rampage through out the cities:twisted:

I also hated when your counter decides not to work. Especially with this one combo that guards REALLY like to use later in the game *swing, swing, headbut* I could not counter that freakn' move to have my life and my timing is dead on. Heck, I can even time things perfectly half asleep. That pissed me right off fighting multiple guys and your counter options just "shuts down".

I like to pretend that water and electronics don't mix so jumping into water shorts out the animus, hence, death.:D
