Here is thing they said theY have a big FF VII announcement right, then by that fans of the game come to a conclusion that it will be a remake which is a big possiblity but what if it turns out to be another FF VII movie like FF VII:AC.

I just think you need to take it easy and wait for them to unveil this big announcement.

DUDE, i totally forgot about Genesis, he also played a huge role in crisis core, with that said, maybe they will continue the story........or just make a remake....personally I would be happy for both. But I think they are not done with Genesis just yet.

Dude...former Sony exclusives going multiplatform don't endanger the PS3.Most of the games that are going multi are from last gen.

2.Both Star Ocean 4 an infinite Undiscovery Multi Platform

Well it was a 3 disc game for the PS so if it's a shot for shot remake, both versions will probably be on 1 disc. And this game wasn't even announced yet.

FF7 is a trademark owned by Sony therefore unless Sony is so stupid as to let 360 have FF7, games with FF7 or related to it will stay Sony exclusive (psp, ps3 & ps2). So relax guys, it won't go multiplat.enral

LMAO Sony Owns FF7? They don't own rights to it, they just published the NA version. Square owns every single FF game. Just like Edios Interactive published the PC version of FFVI but they don't own the game. They can release it for any console they want. I can't wait to play FFVI on Xbox 360. You know they are going to go to xbox anyway. SE wants everyone to experience FF thats why it's going to Xbox. Long live MS!!!.

What I got from TC's original statement is that "sentimental value" is at stake if SE begins to release past titles/remakes as multi-plat, which I see as a legitimate argument because it does not deter the concept of the PS3 getting shafted, as we still get to play it. It just makes it feel less special on a personal level, which can change based on the individual gamer - some care, some don't.

SE can do whatever the hell they want, but I am sure they know that some of their announcements were a sting to Sony.

I think all the FFXIII multi thing is overshadowing how real rpg fans feel an we recodnize that what we actually lost was Star Ocean totally. An that The Last Remnant would be coming on on 360 first an infinite undiscovery would be 360 exculsive. Which to me one of the biggest things said was the whole Last Remnant thing because they said it would come out on all platforms at the same time. Then on top of that star ocean 360 exclusive as well as another ip infinite undiscovery thats what got to me. If it was just infinite undiscovery 360 exclusive an everything else multi I could deal with that but this is a bit over the top. Although Infinite does look better day by day an I wouldn't mind that either.

Just one more thing, the only reason I haven't like pretty much died from the rpg drought is because of my psp god bless that thing. It has brought me coutless hours of fun.

I don't buy into the whole Sony owns the rights thing, but technically your argument is off. Tactics was remade for the PSP. FFTA and FFTA2 are complete different games from FFT, which (to my knowledge) has only been on the PS1 and PSP.

As for the Sony published 7 thing, I think individual contracts have to be looked at. In some cases a publisher owns the IP, in some cases the dev retains all rights to the IP. In some cases a game only gets made because the publisher is providing all the funding up front, and in some cases a game is made, and then the dev seeks out a publisher because they need help with the post production publishing (making discs, packaging, distribution, etc.) and in some cases the dev publishes the game themselves in one region and simply makes partnerships with different publishers in different regions or for different platforms to put the game out in other places. This last one is what happened with some of Square/SE's older games. I highly doubt Sony has any rights whatso-ever to FF7, or any other FF game.
