If you look at it like that. no it is in fact not worth 10$ an hour. but if you are into great stories. kick..butt combos and a girl with a face with no signe of ageing or ANYTHING on her skin and crappy hair. then you should buy the game. :P

Crying to mommy and daddy? Hmmm....sounds like what the Sony fanboys do when complaining about the XMB not being ingame....and price...and lack of games....lol...sorry, just had to say it when I saw it.
If "Mommy & Daddy" is Sony, then you would be right. but then again i don't care much for Fanboys.. they are only complaining because they know that they are in fact.. a dying breed.

Its not that. You can return used games for a full refund. I plan on buying a used copy, play it and beat it and then get my money back.
that is the cheapest thing you can possibly do.why don't you just spend 5-7 bucks and rent the game for a few days, beat it and return it.

Talk about a straight kick the developers nuts. Honestly, I hope you buy a used copy and go to return for full price and they offer you $10 max for it.

I'm going to do just that.
But right before, I'm going to put a huge scratch through my disc.

That's being pathetically cheap !!!!!!
...And I'm also sick of people saying that Heavenly Sword is $10 an hour for everyone. The game's lenghtis different according to the person's skills, I'm not so good at this kind of games for example, and it's taking me a lot longer than 6 hours, and I'm enjoying every minute of it. :D
BTW have you checked thisarticle about Ninja Theory extending missions to Heavenly Sowrdvia DLC http://wap.ps3fanboy.com/2007/09/14/heavenly-sword-downloadable-content-coming-if-it-sells-well/2#comments I just bumped into it.

I believe the only way to get a full refund is if the plastic is still on it like how they wrapped it.

For brand new games, yes you only get a full refund if it is still sealed. However, it is EB/Gamestop policy on used games that you can bring it back within 7 days of purchase if you don't like the game, and geta full refund.

Gamespot in my area already has a bunch of used copies but for $5 less it's not worth it. Why waste your money on that game? Why not rent

Same here.
sounds like a good idea,
but why is this game the price it is, for such little gameplay, i would hate to pay and finish it the same day.
this game should be cheaper than warhawk, shouldnt it?

I posted this earler but I feel it answers your question:
People say HS is easy to play. Sure you can beat it using the same easy combos over and over (while taking a good butt-kicking in the process). Playing it at it's simplest level, it's probably not worth the $60 and is good for just a weekend rental.
But when you've mastered countering, arial combos, mixing stances, etc. the game takes on a very different feel. The rhythm you can build up as you block, counter, dodge and just completely slaughter a group of poor bad guys as you mix the different stances and combos....without getting hit no less..... is almost poetic and a beautiful thing to see and experience. Seeing the glyph meter rise past 50 as you dish out the carnage keeps you in the flow. The satisfaction of earning 3 glyphs for the skill you just demonstrated is the icing.
Now put the battles into context of an overall great story, great characters, great acting, great music, great visuals, and great animations, well, to me you have a truly unique game that easily justifies it's $60 cost. The replay value comes into play in unlocking Hell Mode, trying to earn 3 glyphs for every section and basically unlocking every combo in the game and using many of them successfully in battle.
If you are on the fence about getting this game, pleased don't underestimate how good it is.
