I'm just getting sick of that town.

Don't want to disappoint you, but it's not going to be. America is a huge part of GTA, the series long has been one big satire of American culture.
Heh yeah the only GTA that wasn't set in america from what I can remember was GTA london which was on the pc back around GTA 1 and 2 days :P^ Yea, V for Venturas.
So in this one we will probably start out in Venturas. Then they will make us but San Fierro and Los Santos for $40 each.
OP- I hear ya. I was sick of Liberty City before the dlc came out...and I'm from the real NYC too.
My dreams of Tokyo have been crushed :( Stupid american cities, I'm getting sick of them. I mean I'll be getting the game regardless because it's GTA, but still :( guess i'll go back to playing Yakuza 4 for a while :)
I am American, but I would love a European GTA. That would be sweet. Like an awesome recreation of (insert country here) would be sweet. We know Rockstar specializes in this.
yeah i agree. a new setting would be awesome. but apparently they're doing it in san andreas again. if they had to do another american city i wouldve preferred they redid vice city. that would be awesome. but whatever its still gonna be a sick game.
Guys, seriously stop complaining about it been in American cities, Im English and would be disserpointed if it was set else-where. The reason why is because the games are always slight parody's or digs to american culture and politics. Like the last game was a dig at the anti-immagration organisations of the US, along with others. All the Liberty City sets have been completely different in each game, so if anything its the New York setting in games in general thats getting boring.
Almost certainly confirmed that it will be in L.A. There was a link to Kotaku as well that seemed pretty well convinced it was going to be in L.A. I honest'y don't care where it's at as long as it has some off road places, or hills or fields or country!! I mean Jesus it's so boring living in a city, much less playing a game and only being confined to a city. One of my favorite things about San Andreas was the country/woodland part of it. MC-ReapSoooo, basically San Andreas? I was kinda hoping they might go back to Vice City.

Yea. As much as I would appreciate a gta London, if they made that, many of the people here would complain about the jokes and refrences going over their heads.
I'm not against them re-using cities because the only thing they seem to really be reusing is the names. the Liberty City in gta4 was completely different from the one in gta3.

America isn't a huge part of GTA, but all of it isn't it? Which GTA game has been in another country?Almost certainly confirmed that it will be in L.A. MC-ReapI so hope that all the buzz about it being 100% LA will prove to be fake and it will be a whole new city, but i honestly dont think Rockstar will do it, they will use the city created in LA Noire and improve on that and perhaps take abit of the surounding area also.
