In my opinion there are much better things to spend your money on. I would not recommend buying an entire system just because you are interested in one or two games. I did that (I wanted Daxter) and I regret it, every once in a while there will be a psp exclusive that you feel you need. You go and buy the system, buy the game, play and beat the game, and then what? One game can only bring so many hours of playtime with it before you get bored, and surely you do not want to immediately pick it right back up and start a new game after you just beat it. As for all the games that you can buy for both the psp and other consoles I would have to say that games on the other consoles are much MUCH better, and it is hard to play a game on the psp for some people. Also they get dirty and break easily. I wouldn't get one if I were you unless you had your heart set on it, and you obviously don't. I also find it a little confusing to work with, I do not enjoy it, thats just my opinion.Vault_Monkeysee one could argue the case of it getting dirty and breaking. so does the iphone/touch. I've seen atleast five of my friends in the past five months break a screen. how many psp screens broke 1. DS 0(nobody owns a DS where I live unless you're a girl or a little kid. It's like the perfect stereotype where i live lol. as for games. at this point there are many titles worth trying. I have plenty of PSP game reviews on my profile, feel free to check them out. The PSP2 rumors are very strong, everyone is waiting for an announcement at TGS. If you have the money, pick it up, give it a try. If you're more of wanting new technology, see what, if anything is announced at TGS and if not, get a 3DS
You should get a PSP. If you live in Canada, go online to Future Shop's website. You can get a Hannah Montana bundle for $100!! I know the purple color might turn some of the guys off, but I might get one because of the price. They also have the white one with the ModNation game for $130.

Cmon man...why say a comment like that??
Dude even if they are making a psp2 it will not come out this year. More than likely it will come out next year. Even if a psp2 comes out the first model of it will suck and they will have to make changes You can enjoy your psp 3000 until they finally make PSP2 3000 then all the games you wanna play will be dirt cheap. You will have the latest model. And most of all.... you will have had a psp to play with during development time[QUOTE="Coolyfett"][QUOTE="abel01"]

Yea dude way to be really random lolIf you're looking to replicate the experience of playing games on "the big boys" (pc, xbox, ps3) on a handheld, then buy a PSP. It now
has a good catalogue of excellent games, many of those games now available at a steep discount.
The PSP does a number of things very well (games, videos, comics) and a few things not so well: music, webbrowsing, etc.
PSN store also leaves a lot to be desired.
Okay I have decided that I'm going to get a psp (the psp 3000). Now I need some good games for it. Any suggestions?ArmagademGET PERSONA 3 PORTABLE AS YOUR FIRST GAME Patapon 2 Metal gear solid peace walker daxter one of the grand theft autos god of war chains of olympus burnout legends patapon 2
I agree, P3Portable, DEFINITELY. After that comes Dissidia, Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core, MGS:Peace Walker (I also recommend MGS: Portable Ops as well, for the PSP), Jeanne d'Arc is also a great game, basically, just lurk around gamespot, you'll see the games are easily buyable, available to everyone, and above all, cheap.EmbossedDarn How come I don't like final fantasy?! I don't even like most of anime... LOL
