well as you all know, mgs is the best game in the world.

I love numba 1 its the best and numba 2 comes close behind it...

BUT if you look at mgs 1 and 2, itss all sort of in a building, closed up and stuff, with the map and you have to go back to get stuff, all i see in mgs4 is battle field. battlefield and again........

will it feel like an mgs game after all?

Yes. Stealth is there, except it's now on the battlefield.

MGS4 will be the best MGS. MGS3 comes second.

As far as which MGS is better, they're all GREAT but MGS1 would have to be my favorite since that was the game that started it for me, and it's the game that I played ALOT ALOT and seriously I mean ALOT!

Yes, surely you'd rather be in an open world sneaking than corridors? The more open jungle areas of MGS didn't kill you, did it?

And if you love corridors just go down back alleys and into buildings and pretend the big areas don't exist.

Plus, there is going to be 5 different areas in MGS4, so that should be awesome and enough!

ok ok :|

no sorry i havent played mgs3, but i still think too much battlefield will be bad :\

you know the level cards, the map and all that, thats what makes mgs an mgs game! well for me anyway, when you have to go back the whole game to get a weapon like mgs 1 :)

Yea, it will feel like a MGS game, because it still forces you to use stealth in the game, and you get the same unique story telling as before.

I couldnt agree more. Although I love the MGS series, the close-in areas of the predecessors would be too "old school" for me now. I love how MGS4 will be in open areas. That's how MGS4 should be.

Well MGS3 was pretty different than the first two, so that pretty much answers your question right there. But if you still have doubts, all I have to say is, Kojima. The man is a perfectionist to the utmost and he has never steered MGS in the wrong direction. Don't worry it'll be amazing.

Yea, I was sort of turned off by the Middle Eastern environments; but with the success and amazing-ness of MGS3, then im sure Kojima knows how to handle MGS4, especially between 5 areas!
