It is a fun and unique looking physics based platformer with an emphasis on multiplayer that sounds like it will have alot of replay value. IT also has a great art style. What's not to like?
Was thinking like that just about a few days ago until I took a more in-depth look in LBP. Its actually a pretty fun game as I can see. The ability to create your own levels is pretty endless.
What isn't to enjoy about LBP? This is the game that convinced me to buy a PS3. When Sony first showed it off at CES07, I was stoked and still am to this day. September can't come soon enough.
people not seeing the possibilities in this game probably never played a game where they had to be creative. not that i wonder why they haven't but that's not part of this discussion. I (for one) like the idea of the game, being able to create a level and sharing it with tons of people. getting the level rated by people. and just see how much different a level from each user will be. because they all have their own ideas of a fun level. i can't wait for it. and i can't stop drawing levels on paper so that i can be ready to make them when the game comes out :D
Yeah, I don't see what all the buzz is... All that the game seems to be is a sidescrolling platformer where you can make your own little guys and run around with them... I don't see the big draw for a graphical point of view or even a story point of view... Maybe its innovative, but so was the Virtual Boy and we all know how that turned out...
Well... Little Big Planet isn't much of a looker but is the game-play that counts. Is rather innovative. When Phil and Co was on stage playing it... It look sooo fun. Unfortunately, I expect LBP is one of those love it or hate game. If the demo didn't grab your attention and affection, I am afraid is hard for a LBP fan to convince you otherwise.
