because it'll leave my fingerprints on it. Ive got a slim PSP model, and this plastic gets dirty real fast.

I was wondering what you guys do to keep your PSP shiny. Do you guys also wonder how a fingerprint got on the screen when you are certain that you didnt touch it?

What color have you got? Black is the worst for noticeable fingerprints. There's really nothing you can do to keep fingerprints off it is to wear gloves when playing. But I just wipe my screen off with my shirt or a wet cloth.

lol start getting used to touching and feeling the PSP in every way if you really want to use it. Its better in the end..

The longer you have it the less the need to handle it with kid gloves.

Just don't touch the screen, but if that happens just wipe it. The glossy LCD screen can be difficult to completely

clean without special cleaner fluid and cloth however.

I use a que tip to clean in between the buttons, and the D pad, and the joy stick on my PSP Slim. I don't really worry about the finger prints on the screen, they're going to be there either way. I'll clean it probably on Thanksgiving vacation, again. Oh yeah, i have the Ice Silver PSP Slim. :D

lol I am not as meticulous as to try to figure out where each fingerprint has come from. Just touch the PSP who cares if theres fingerprints on it or if it looks clean.

id recommend a dusting cloth, it doesnt matter if its dirty, you just need to wipe it quite firmly so that the fingerprints are removed

A friend used to do that when it first came out, but gave up

I think is better just to clean it every now and then, cause of so much cleaning mine got scratched, not really noticeable but they are there. Now I just left it full of fingerprints for a long time and then when I'm sick of them I clean it

My black slim gets finger printy within seconds, but I really don't care...I just wipe it clean from time to time. I never got the big deal that many people make about finger prints on their PSP. It's not like they're permanent or affect the performance in any way...

OK, so thus far:

"Wear Gloves" - Plasmabeam44

"Body Cover" at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdePUhubtKw - RSW712

"Will the body cover fit on slim?" - DayLightBreak

And does anybody have experience with the body cover?

"Special cleaner fluid and cloth" - Bogan79

What is special fluid? I would guess the same stuff ppl use to whipe TFT screens?

"Que tip for between buttons" - WSGRandomPerson

Thats a good idea!

But there is also a problem with cleaning too much? Or to firmly? I havent got my PSP that long, but does this happen to you guys?

I wear latex gloves everytime i play my psp means no smudges or fingerprints. Nah, I'm just pulling your leg, i just give it a wipe with a cloth purchasable from opticians or any super markets.

I cleaned it really well then cover it with saran wrap really tight. This makes it still playable until the saran wrap gets loose. Just Kidding. What I use is a product called Klear Screen, Available at Fry's or iKlear (same product rebranded for Mac screens) available at the Apple Store. This product is fantastic and will take the fingerprints off *without* scratching the screen. using your shirt will surely scratch the heck out of your screen. I have had my PSP for nearly a year and I don't think I have any visible scratches on it.

You can do a fingerprint surgical removal I think some hospital offer this kind of service. Now you dont have to complain about fingerprinting your PSP.

I just game like I normally would and if it gets dirty I clean it with a cloth.

Easy process, methinks.

The best way to get rid of the fingerprints/smudges is to dampen a cloth/tissue and wipe the PSP with that then again with a dry one. Thats what I do when I get fingerprints all over my PSP.
