I download Linux for the PS3, but not sure if i will install it

I finally finished downloading Linux for my PS3 and burn it into a DVD, But now i have no idea how to install it on my PS3, actually i'm not sure if i want to install it, i don't want to fuk up my PS3.

Can i unistall it if i want without messing with the PS3 OS?

if you don't know how to use Linux, then don't install it on your PS3. Linux unlike Windows (I am not debating which OS is better :) ) is not very user friendly. you need some experience to use it well. The last time I used Linux was back in school ( couple of years ago), and it wasn't very friendly specially when it comes to installing USB type stuff, mounting and unmounting disks...etc. I'd keep the current PS3 OS. I'd would think Linux is usually installled by programmers, like me, to play around with the Cell processor by writing code. If you want to do that, then go ahead otherwise keep the same OS. Your post suggests that you are not familiar with Linux and neither you're a programmer, so I suggest to keep it simple with the default OS.
