I Dropped Ice Cream on my dualshock 3 ={

just one drop landed on the square button. immediately i turned the controller upside down but i guess the damage was done now my square button is sticky and slow. can i open up the controller and maybe clean it out? or is that bad.

open it and clean it, should be fine. Do it all the time to my sons PS2 controller.

Ha ha, odd... I put my PS3 controller through the wash once... No idea how I managed that... Soaked completey in water for like 45 minutes... Worked perfectly fine.

Don't bother opening it up, you'll regret it. The square button will sort itself out over time. Relax!

Well, if you wanna open it.. please remember handle with care... the triggers a b!tch to put back in... Careful with the rumble wires.. they are easy to break.

oo no sugar and water!! lol

do it on your kitchen table and very carefully pull one side straight up slowly leaving the othr part on the table (unscrew it first)

than dab at it to clean it (dont wipe you might move something outa place and not realize)

than making sure everything is in the right place put it back together and screw it back together

than your done

You could always lick the square button and quickly dry it after :S
