they were watching tmnt last night and i snuck a ps 3 controler upstairs in my house. i kept on messing up the movie like fast forward it exiting to the main screen ect. my wife was yelling at the ps 3 and yelled i think your ps 3 is broking. i came down and she seen the controler in my hand and laughed and my son yelled at me. dad im trying to watch this.
Yea I've kinda done that before since the Blu-tooth goes through walls. Like I'll be coming from the next room and turn on the ps3 from far away. And ppl are like wtf??
we were playing our wii when company was over and i took a phone call in the next room, as i was talking i gestured w/ my hand that was holding the remote. it was pointint at a lamp (w/ 2 light bulbs turned on) and i hear everyone freaking out in the next room as the cursor moved itself. I realized the remote can send back signals like (30ft?) as long as the bar (or lights/candles) are within the 15ft.
as far as the ps3, i considered getting 30ft of RCA extension and send the ps3 video to the small SD tv in the bedroom. Then when i go to bed i just switch the output off of HDMI and viola! I can take the brd remote or ps3 controller in there and play in SD or watch movies or anything else on the media server.
I know it would be a pain to run all 3 cables and theres bound to be some loss (besides having cable throught the house) but i haven't done it yet. Composites gotta be the cheapest way however (unless i had an extra R/F switch)
this would be great while watching a movie i wanted to finish in the bedroom, but defeats the purpose of all the $ i spend on HDTV, DPL 5.1, cables and BRD movies.
I did something similar with the ps2 :lol: me and my friends a wile ago were playing Star Wars BattleFront II and i hade the ps2 remote control and with it you can control along with the ps2 1P controller, i keep making him jump into enemy fire, rolling, :lol: fun
You can also be in the yard and turn the PS3 on from there while someone is in the room where the PS3 is sitting. The nice thing about Blu-Tooth is you don't have to be in view of the console to control it unlike a RF signal that needs a clear line of site to anything it contols.

Anyway it actually messed up sometimes. we have two PS3 here. my mom has one and i have one. and sometimes we annoy eachother. lol but it's not really a problem since my 3 controllers are set to my PS3 and her two controllers to hers. so yeah. not that big a problem. was fun in the beginning tho :D

ive done that before, it was real funny. my dad was like wtf, son ur system thing just turned on and i didnt do n e thing. showed him the touch senor turn on feature and he was like wow. (lil old fashion but i love him, lol)
lol. i thinksomething someone should try is download some scary video clip of some sort, then when someone's in the room, from far away, turn on the ps3 with the controller and play the clip. lol, the person'll be like, zomg! possessed ps3! lol.
