For not getting MGS4 when it first came out, as ps3 owners we should support all of our exclusives, especially great games like MGS, but I do have good reason, I have never played a MGS game, ok I played the first back in the day, but I couldn't wrap my young mind around it and quickly gave up, so now I'm gonna start with MGS2 and play thru to MGS4, I don't think I will be that lost with skipping the first one, if you are playing MGS4 do you think I will be lost?

Buy it and just keep it next to your ps3:D Contributes to initial sales and encourages you to finish the previous MGS games.

I havent completed 3 btw and I know whats going on...If you don't just ask a mate or on this forum

I really suggest getting the Essentials Collection and playing through them in numerical order, and then pick up MGS4. MGS1 is very vital to the series. MGS does a pretty good job of filling you in on the past events, but you'll get a lot more out of it if you play the previous games.
