That one game changes a person interest about whether or not to sell the system, as great as ff13 is, even though im not much of a rpg fan, i would never sell a system, in terms of that one game, & who knows maybe sony has planned for something big on e3, you guys can do whatever you want but im still keeping the system, im loyal to sony lol ;), and i know great exclusive titles is going to be coming out in the future, so i rather take my chances :). realistic44

Unfortunately, FFXIII is not just a game.

It's a promise. Historically, the system that had Final Fantasy franchise was loaded with JRPGs as other company sees JRPG market exists through Final fantasy franchise.

Now that Xbox 360 secured more big name JRPGs with Star Ocean 4, Final Fantasy XIII was the only game that made me feel safe about PS3's future with JRPGs.

Now... it looks fairly clear that XBox 360 is safer bet with JRPGs. Making me think PS3 was the wrong choice.

I could undestand if you don't own a PS3 and you don't want to buy it because of the FFXIII announcment, but why would you sell it if you already have a PS3? You are still able to play it. You have to be extremely emotional to do something like that.xX-General-Xx

Maybe he thinks he should trade it for 360.

Personally i like ps3 more than i like the 360, they are both great systems though. so overall i want to keep the ps3, there is great games exclusively just for the ps3- such as resistance 1 & 2, uncharted drakes fortune, ratchet & clank tod, motorstorm 1 & 2 , MAG, Warhawk, god of war 3, littlebigplanet, mlb 08 the show, hot shots golf out of bounds, and the list goes on & on, great controllers as well such as dualshock 3, i can also watch movies on hi def which i enjoy alot :).

Most important lesson is, never trust what companies say. We might get star ocean 4 and vesperia. Although vesperia we wont be getting any time soon.

Yeah its their choice, i aint going to complain and write a long essay on why they shouldnt do that, its just not that smart of a choice, but it isnt my job to control them.

Keep this in mind, Bush was electerd not once but twice, even after he cheated to win the first one peole still voted for this iniane drone. Now figure in the factor that many of thise who are crying parent's if not themselves voted for this guy. They are easily manipulated by the press, and they probably love reality shows.

Exactly, people don't reallise that the reason people bought a PS3 was becacuse traditionally it has been the system for RPGs. Now that FF13 is on the 360 too, in hindsight people think that it may have been better to buy the cheaper system and still get all the MS exclusives, such as Gears and Halo.

most smartest post today. Ppl don't want to pay more money for a console to play games on. Ppl who think this is "stupid" forget the fact that ppl like to save money. But then again, you have to count int the reliability of the two consoles. You know something is wrong with this gen of gaming when ppl start discussing listening to music, linux and that watching movies on a game console. Ppl obviously have not heard of the pc b4.
