For awhile now when I played with my DS3 the left analog stick was not working correctly. When pressing up or down on it, on screen the cursor or character would only move VERY slowly, like if I was barely pressing it. So the other day I decided that enough was enough and I took the controller apart to see if I can find out the problem. Well I took it apart and wow...I don't know how they mass produce this thing because its very tricky putting it back together with quite a few pieces dangling from the board inside. Anyways when I had it apart everything looked fine and normal in there, I had it on and was pressing the stick up and down and watching the screen and every once and awhile the cursor was moving normal. So after a bit I got frustrated and smacked it pretty good, in the process I cut my thumb but the controller started working wonderfully. I then carefully put it back together and ever since then its been working great :) I'm sooo happy my 45 dollar controller isn't a paper weight anymore.
The same thing happened to me with the left analog stick, the characters would move slow. I'm going to send mine back to get a new one. I don't really want to open it and mess it up even more

Who did you buy through? Just interested in how you are doing warranty on a yet to be released product. If possible I would buy from that company in the future. I didn't buy one yet because of the warranty concern....
