I got A 40 Gb? Last Week can i play ps1 games?

They did for PS2 games- still good to go for PSOne games, whether disc or downloaded from the store.

But if you own a ps2 that shouldnt really bother you. But the 60GB has 4 USBs, dont understand why they discontinued it and not the 40

No. You CAN play PS1 disk games. I tried it with Metal Gear Solid, works pretty well..(Though change the controller from "Digital" to "Analog")thrones
