No. You CAN play PS1 disk games. I tried it with Metal Gear Solid, works pretty well..(Though change the controller from "Digital" to "Analog")

Both disc and virtual games work for ps1 titles. I was playing street fighter alpha the other day. I just wish I could find some worthwhile ps1 titles to play.

They did for PS2 games- still good to go for PSOne games, whether disc or downloaded from the store.

But if you own a ps2 that shouldnt really bother you. But the 60GB has 4 USBs, dont understand why they discontinued it and not the 40

What's the difference between Analog and Digital? I have always wondered that.

Analog is like how the sticks are for PS3 games- the further you push the stick, the faster your character goes. Digital is all or nothing- no in between movement.

Analog movement wasn't introduced to the PSOne until a couple of years into the console's lifespan. So, games that came out before that may get confused if analog control is active. That clear things up any?
