I Hate Modern Warfare 2!!!!!!!!

This has been said 1,000,000,000,000 times before, but now i hate it with everything I got! I wan't my money back or this game to be fixed, If not then I will burn down infinity ward, nuke them, EMP them, squish them with care packages and finally semtex them. Then i will do the same to activision!

Until 2 weeks ago this game was good to me, i would get nukes back to back, get scores of 45-4 in headquarters... But 2 weeks ago i noticed a huge change! I got to 2nd prestige and then it happened the game becomes a total A** whole towards me. i can't even get a 3 killstreak without being killed less than a second later. I tried everything to stop this, camping, rushing, noob tubing, tac kniving. But nothing worked!! My K/D has gone from 1.78 to 1.32 in 5 hours of playing, it's that bad!

I thought i was getting lucky this morning when i got my 8 killstreak and a emergency airdrop, but no, their whole team pounced on me from all directions and took every care package because when they killed me, i respawned half way across the map (wasteland). there were some good care packges too, EMP, Sentry gun, AC130, and UAV Jammer. I Noticed that if your'e not host then you have no chance of getting a good score, its called hosts advantage.

So I was wondering, is there any kind of group trying to get infinity ward to fix this piece of S**T game? If theres is i would take that group to the extreme man i would make sure it was heard! I HATE INFINITY WARD, they have made me stick with treyarch, and they best make sure black ops is balanced!

I think you need to get better at the game. I haven't had any problems. It's a good game and not everything is about K/D ratios.

I'm the same as you. First few months, had about 35 nukes. Now, I can't get one ill basically. I just gave up and played something else.Adziboy

I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate it, it's decent, but it's been outdone. Also, I really enjoyed the fast, arcade-style kind of FPS multiplayer back in the Goldeneye/Perfect Dark days. My tastes have matured and I like a little more in my multiplayer ventures now, BFBC2. I almost regret saying that cause I don't want this to become another BFBC2 VS MW2 thread :P But yeah, MW2 is all about K/D, the reliant mechanic in the game is killstreaks. If you're not getting enough K's before you D, then you're having a bad time. I like a little more finesse in my shooters, kthx. For instance, if you get 5 kills in a MW2 match, you suck. Plain and simple. However, If you get 5 kills in a BFBC2 match, but spentthe entire battle as a utility player that led to your teams victory, you did an awesome job.Looking forward to the new Medal of Honor, as DiCE are taking care of the multiplayer. Should be hot.

My K/D was 2.04 and I quit playing that garbage game 3 months ago :D.

Cod 4 was much better and imo Cod 2 was the best Call Of Duty game ever.

I gotta agree with that, the original Medal of Honor is still one of my favourite shooters.

Glad it's not just me, people tell me its because of some patch that came out and then can't exactly explain what the patch did to make the game completely suck. and yes K/D determines if your a good player or not, so cod is all about K/D K/D of 2+ = Amazing player K/D of 1.5+ = Great player K/D of 1+= Average player K/D of 0.01 + = Horrific player K/D of 0.00 = worst player everAdziboy

Yeah It's the truth. COD is all about KDRs and nukes. If it was about winning the objective then why do youtube gameplay videos of COD never say in the title "domination, team won" or something like that? All I ever see is nuke on (map) with (some weapon) I guess a nuke if you get a nuke you win, but you know what I mean... Getting a nuke is on the same line as getting a good kdr, which, like I said, is all what people care about.

Not necessarily.

Search and destroy is more about w/l.... I mean, it is with the clan I play with, since it really is a team game. Since I joined them, I've gone from a 0.87 ratio to 1.33. Getting huge winstreaks really changed me, too... before, even though my team was losing, if I was 18 and 2 or whatever, I'd stay in the game as long as my ratio was high, but now I leave no matter how well I'm doing.

I guess the whole k/d thing got old... especially when you realize how fake Modern Warfare's k/d ratios are. I mean you guys really think you got that 1.56 ratio with your own 'skill' alone?

well i was no good at it. 12 killstreak max in 2 months. it was fun, but not fun enough: you knew there wasn't another way around the map; you go left, right or straight ahead. its not open ended like BC2 or TF2 and stuff like that, but thats just me.

BUT ONE THING I HATE IS THE LONE WOLVES :evil:

i played it at a friends....and the ps3 version is alot better then the 360 and pc(i own) for hacking.....its still not everything its chalked up to be....its a solid game.....but i think it would be much better without the perks......keeping the guns is a must.....but the perks make the game just not fun for me......it is really too easy...the guns are too accurate.....and the knives just kill the game play for me......someone running at me with a knife from more than 5 or 10 feet should not win when i have a shotgun or mp5.....that simple......especially if i hit u.......

That was the most wrong thing I have ever heard in regards to Modern Warfare.

^ But it's what people think all the time. Recent CoD games and talk of K/D ratio go hand in hand, unfortunately.

I've had people detemine whether I'm good at video games based on my K/D in MW which is totally wrong. :?

Regardless of what your KtD ratio is in any game, it always feels good to sneak up on some **** who has a 1.0+ KtD ratio and knife them for being a stupid dumbass and then get relentless spam from them on 360/PS3 calling you all kinds of names :D

This is why I play Battlefield, but the problem with that game is the fact that those no skilled bs piece of trash MW2 players are moving on over and boy let me tell you, they LOVE sitting in a corner doing nothing to end the game with a high K/D. K/D means nothing when the gametype is OBJECTIVE BASED and that goes for ANY shooter, MW2 included.

The game sucks, it was fun at first but it is way to flawed and Infinity ward is to lazy to fix anything in this game. COD4 was way better. Do yourself a favor and buy BFBC2.

Sounds like you were used to playing with noobs and now that you're playing against people who know how to play you're crying about it.

Is it me or the care packages (and Emergency Airdrops) only drop crap now? I've getting a lot of ammo and UAV's lately =_=

It's like if that's the only thing I can get off them O_o

Also, is it ok if my ratio is 1.06? But like... I always score like 15-20/7-10. It's just I used to suck but then I started learning new tricks and stuff lol. And yes, I also play mind games with people ;)

If they would just fix the stupid spawn system it might be better. Nothing is worse than dying then respawning right around the corner to be killed again. When that happens you get to see yourself die twice in one killcam. Congrats for such a crappy game Infinity Ward. I'm sure Modern Warfare 3 sales will be lower because of it.

It's not a bad game in my opinion. It's pretty good but it's not the greatest though. It's not worth $60 though (no games are). That's the one of the reasons why I don't care for using that "emergency airdrop" killstreak. It sucks when you have someone take a good care package. If it's EMP, UAV, or AMMO, they can take it, I really don't care because although they know where I'm at, have disabled the electronics on our team, or take some ammo that I could possibly need, I'll still be able to kill them and get some more weapons by just picking them up off the ground.

They just need to fix the online. Between lazy hackers, glitches, lagging, and the spawn system, it doesn't help online. Practice, you'll get better and if it helps (and if you're patient), camp. Yes people I said camp. Some may hate you for it but they'll eventually find someway to kill you so rack up kills why you can. I camp majority of the time but I'll sometimes just run and gun people especially if I'm on a roll. :D Your opinion though. If you can't return it, either A: sell it or B: get better.
