Like posted before, why do you hate MW2? Because the games have some similarities, not much but some.

i hate mw2 because iits just fast pace running around shooting each other with not much of a point other than to kill the other players.
Never played BF2, but from what I hear, its basically the same concept, but much slower pace and with vehicles. And umm, every fps online the point was always to kill the other players. :|

some games have more of a point than just kill the other players though...like socom.
I've played both games for a long period of time and from what I've experienced I could say that bfbc2 isn't just *pew-pew-pew weee frags* because if you would run well..you'll be killed that's for sure

Plus its game modes concepts aren't just "kill each-other. team with more kills is winner" the basic game mode is do defend or destroy base which involves some team play.
Seriously you won't be able to sneak into their HQ by yourself. You'd need a back-up,cover and some brain
I got tired of of MW2 as well, and BC2 was a welcome addition to my collection. More team based, and you actually care more about helping others out to achieve victory.
BF2 is a completely different beast from MW2. MW2 is a fast-paced, small scale tactical insertion get in and kill the enemy game. The battles that derive from that style of game are very speedy, not in how long they take, but in death and respawn timers. It's just a fast paced, unrealistic gameplay. BF2 is a full on war scenario game. It comes complete with large-scale maps, tanks, helicopters, buggies, etc. It's a war game, battles tend to last longer, it's more objective based (you probably just played MW deathmatch), and highly team oriented. It's a great game with friends as you join a squad and run together if you want. Buildings blow up and lose their use if you are hiding in them. Bullets as a sniper curve with gravity. Just many differences like that. It's similar, but highly different.
